Rebranding GVK BIO to Aragen: To mark its 20th year and prepare for global expansion, GVK BIO renamed itself Aragen. Through deep discovery and key strategic insights, we created a transformative brand identity, enabling Aragen to distinctly position itself within the global biopharma growth story.

The Challenge
GVK BIO was renamed Aragen to reflect the company’s evolution into a global biopharmaceutical solutions provider, and to celebrate its 20-year milestone. TSK Design was appointed to enable this transition and create a global, future-ready and distinctive brand identity for Aragen.

The new mark embodies Aragen’s brand promise, ‘Together Ahead’. The seamless coming together of two forms and their collaborative movement, represent partnerships that enable infinite possibilities for better health. We call this symbol, AURA, an acronym for Aragen’s distinctive personality – Ambitious, Understated, Resilient and Agile.

For the brand mark, we intersected two circles (symbolic of Aragen and the customer) to create an ovoid (the vesica piscis) that represents partnership. By morphing and twisting the ovoid, an aerodynamic symbol is formed.

The Aragen colours evoke its brand purpose: ‘In every molecule is the possibility for better health’. The deep blue gradient conveys the possibilities of science, and the vibrant orange gradient, life and better health. The colours also recall the brand’s personality. Aragen Blue symbolises resilient, Aragen Orange represents ambitious and agile, and Aragen Grey is understated, balancing the bold colour palette.
